More "Stupidity in the US" news
US coffee chain Starbucks has come under fire for a new logo that critics say is offensive and overly graphic.
The Resistance, a US-based Christian group, has called for a national boycott of the coffee-selling giant. It says the chain's new logo has a naked woman on it with her legs "spread like a prostitute... The company might as well call themselves Slutbucks". Starbucks says the image - based on a 16th century Norse design of a mermaid with two-tails - is not inappropriate. Rather, the image is a more conservative version of the original Starbucks design, which hung above the chain's first store when it opened in Seattle's Pike Place Market in 1971.

I had to check the date...
An unwitting passenger arriving at Japan's Narita airport has received 142g of cannabis after a customs test went awry, officials say.
A customs officer hid a package of the banned substance in a side pocket of a randomly chosen suitcase in order to test airport security.
Sniffer dogs failed to detect the cannabis and the officer could not remember which bag he had put it in.
Anyone finding the package has been asked to contact customs officials.

A man is cupping his hand to scoop water from a Highland burn.
The Gamekeeper shouts, "Dinnae drink thon waater! It's foo ae coo's keech an' pish!"
The man replies, "My Good fellow, I'm English. Could you repeat that in English for me?"
The Gamekeeper replies, "I said, use two hands - you'll get more that way!"

Platypus proves even odder than scientists thought
According to this article in the guardian,"While humans have two sex chromosomes, the X and Y, the platypus has 10, with five of each kind." "In theory it means there are 25 possible sexes, though in practice that doesn't happen." When discussing this with zotz tonight he said "That makes them even wierder than Goths!"
So now I have an image of a platypus in a corset and silver jewelry in my head. Any artists out there want to realise this?

Tonight I was eating Nachos when I dropped some. The resulting mess on the table, of salsa and sour cream, looked to me very like a skateboarding penguin. What do you lot think?
That was just as it fell, purely random, no human intervention.

Now, I know allergies are a majpr problem and anaphylactic shock is not a laughing matter but...
Pants allergy claim investigated
"Clothing retailer Primark has launched an investigation after a woman claimed a pair of its pants triggered a severe allergic reaction."
Allergic to her knickers?!?! Allow me to relieve you of the problem m'dear!
Although on second thoughts, since it also says "she bought the support pants at a shop in Greenock" maybe I'm not so keen to help out!

I had a thought last night
While watching my current screensaver, "Ribbons" that there should be an animated Yellow Sign screensaver. That would be cool. Does anybody know where I could get one? For Vista, preferably. Though just a gif would be cool too.

I suppose birthdays average out over the year....

Yes, she is being punished for getting raped.
There are no words to express my feelings at this point, but I would very much like to be alone with the judge right now.
